You know those moments when you're doing all the things, but still feel kind of... off?
You’re showing up, checking boxes, maybe even being “productive,” but inside there’s a disconnect. Like you’ve drifted a little too far from yourself.
This post is your reminder, not to do more, but to come back to your inner compass. And for me, that always starts with simple, soul-led rituals that help unlock intuition and bring me home.
What Does It Mean to Unlock Intuition?
Let’s clear something up, unlocking your intuition doesn’t mean becoming a spiritual guru or reading people’s minds. It’s not some magical superpower reserved for a chosen few.
It’s actually way more grounded than that.
Unlocking your intuition means reconnecting with the part of you that already knows.... the part that’s wise, calm, grounded, and not trying to prove anything. It’s the version of you that makes decisions from alignment, not panic. Presence, not pressure.
And the beautiful thing? That part of you never left. You’ve just got to remember how to access it.
How Do You Know When You're Disconnected?
It’s sneaky, right? Disconnection doesn’t always show up as full-blown burnout or an emotional meltdown.
Sometimes it shows up like:
Obsessively researching every option (been there)
Forgetting to drink water or skipping meals
Feeling wired but exhausted
Dropping the routines and rituals that usually nourish you
It’s like you’re spinning in overdrive and kind of numb at the same time.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re just due for a reset — a reconnection.
Rebuild your clarity in just a few minutes a day.

Why Rituals Matter (Even If You're Not the Woo Type)
Rituals aren’t about being perfect. You don’t need the fancy journal, the playlist, the crystals, or the morning routine that runs like clockwork.
To me, a ritual is any moment that brings you back to your breath, your body, your truth.
It’s lighting a candle and sitting in silence for two minutes. It’s walking barefoot in the grass while your kid plays. It’s placing your hand on your heart and whispering, “I’m here. I’ve got you.”
These small acts, especially when done with intention, shift something in your system. They clear the noise. They soften the overwhelm. They make space for the voice underneath all the “shoulds.”
Your Nervous System Is Always Speaking
Here’s the real magic — your intuition and your nervous system are deeply connected. When you’re stuck in fight-or-flight, it’s nearly impossible to hear that quiet inner voice.
When your body feels safe, your inner wisdom has room to breathe.
Simple rituals calm the nervous system..... breath, movement, grounding, touch. You don’t need to do them perfectly or every day. You just need to feel them.
This is why I teach nervous system regulation in everything I do.... because it’s the bridge between your overthinking mind and your intuitive self.
Intuition vs. Habit - Sorting Out the Noise
Not long ago, I convinced myself I needed to become a psychologist. And I mean fully convinced, I had the spreadsheets, the research, the 2am Google tabs open about APAC certification.
And look, I love learning. But this wasn’t inspired. It was manic.
I had completely lost my center. I was trying to “solve” a feeling by changing careers.
What brought me back?
Not more research. Not another pros and cons list. A simple ritual, sitting on the ground, hand on heart, breath in, breath out.
In that moment, I remembered: I don’t want to be a psychologist. I want to feel safe and clear and confident in the work I already love. I just needed to come back to me.
Common Myths About Intuition (Let's Breathe Through These)
There’s a lot of noise out there about what intuition is — and isn’t. So let’s pause and gently clear some of that.
Myth 1: Intuition is a “gut feeling” or a lightning bolt
Sometimes it is. But often, it’s a whisper. A soft nudge. A sense of “this feels right,” even if it doesn’t fully make sense yet.
Myth 2: Intuition means you’ll never doubt again
False. Intuition isn’t about certainty. It’s about alignment. Doubt may still come up, but you’ll have the tools to ground and respond, instead of spiral.
Myth 3: Some people are just “more intuitive”
Nope. We’re all intuitive. Some of us have just learned to override it. The good news? It’s a skill you can rebuild..... gently, consistently, with ritual and self-trust.
A Real Story: Maya’s Moment of Reconnection
A client of mine, Maya, came to me mid-career-pivot-meltdown. She was tired, scattered, and constantly questioning herself. Every option felt wrong, but doing nothing felt worse.
We started with tiny rituals. No pressure. No overwhelm.
A sip of tea in silence before turning on her phone
A sticky note on her mirror that read “My truth today is…”
A walk each afternoon where she left her headphones at home
Slowly, her clarity came back..... not in a single “aha” moment, but in layers. She realized she didn’t need to blow up her business. She just needed to lead from within it.
That’s the power of ritual, not flashy, but transformative.
Let’s Talk About Kriya Yoga (Because It's More Than Poses)
At its core, New Age HealthcarI’m a big believer in kriya yoga, not because it’s trendy, but because it works.
It’s breath, sound, and movement coming together to move energy and regulate the nervous system. But what I love most about it is how quickly it brings me back to myself.
There’s no expectation to be graceful or perfect. It’s gritty. Sacred. A little wild sometimes. But wow, does it crack something open.
Even just one kriya practice a week shifts how I hold space, parent, and make decisions.
And it taught the physical and mental act of Surrender
What You Can Try Right Now
Let’s keep this simple. If you’re feeling disconnected, start here:
Take five slow breaths with your feet on the ground
Step outside and thank the sky, the wind, the trees
Write one sentence: “What I really want to say is…”
Lay on your mat and give it all to the west — the surrender direction
These little practices are enough.
You are enough.
Final Words (From My Heart to Yours)
If you’re caught in the loop of overthinking or self-doubt, know this — you don’t have to fix everything.
You just have to come home.To your breath. Your truth. Your rituals.Your wise, wild, knowing self.
That’s the version of you who knows what matters.
She’s still here.Let’s meet her again.
